WebEx Allows You To Use Your Mic & Cam, But Requires Registration

Registration Basics

  • Contact me to get registered.
  • Registration = Going through a screening process on the phone with me to ensure you are in agreement with these terms.
  • You will need to share your email and phone number (which I keep private) and agree to keep my contact info private.
  • We will not skip any details of the terms and will read through all of it together, to ensure you really do agree, so this process can take about 2 hours.
  • I usually only do the registration process on the first day of the week.
  • Problems happen when people don't read and follow rules, so this pre-registration requirement makes it much less likely I have to correct someone in front of others, and therefore helps me to avoid hurting others' feelings for enforcing rules.

      • What Can Registered Persons Do or Not Do?

  • 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 and 1 Timothy 2:11-12 will be honored and recognized as inspired and important scriptures. Even Devorah desired men to be men and sought to have men take the lead, if only they would, as in Judges 4:6. In Judges 4:9, Devorah penalizes the man who won't take the lead instead of her, showing it was not Yahweh's will or her will for her to lead, but rather a failure of man. When women don't try to get men to be men and take the lead on their own without a woman, they are not walking in the footsteps of Devorah. Every woman has an obligation to step aside, to not take authority over men through teaching or any means, and every man has an obligation to not let a woman fill roles that are for men. Deuteronomy 22:5 "A utensil of a warrior will not exist upon a woman, and a warrior will not wear the apparel of a woman, given that all these doings are an abomination to Yahweh your Elohiym."
  • Only brothers can comment during Scripture Readings & Discussions - the "Miqra Qodesh" time - on Set-Apart Days.
  • Brothers or sisters may use their mic for other purposes - like offering up a song of praise.
  • Sisters may not exercise authority over men or teach men.
  • You can use your mic or cam using WebEx or other software or web interface we approve, which will allow you to participate live in the gathering so others watching can see and hear you.
  • In WebEx, you hear in real-time, whereas those listening in the browser hear on a delay.
  • There are desktop and SmartPhone apps for WebEx you can use.
  • There is a separate chat in WebEx and private messaging other registered users is possible.
